Austin Band List is a directory of active bands and performers in and around the Austin, Texas area, focusing on the kinds of bands that play venues like Hotel Vegas, 13th Floor, Hole in the Wall, Chess Club, etc.  I'm just doing this for fun -- no ads, no commercial motive. Hopefully folks will find it useful, interesting, and unifying.

I'm adding bands as I see them in daily show listings. Hope everyone's ok with that, but if not, let me know and I will remove your band. There's a lot of bands in Austin and it's going to take a while to get most of them on the list. If you have an Austin-based band that is currently playing shows and would like to be listed on ABL, send me an email at AustinBandList @ gmail.com and I will add your info to the directory. Lastly, I'm not a website developer. I'm learning as I go. So bear with me as I try to make the site better.
